Turkey Farming
Need: Turkey Pen, Fencing, and 100 Young Turkeys.
Location: Kamuli District, Uganda, Sonrise Children’s Home compound
Justification: As part of our overall plan to increase production of farm animals for food and sale, we desire to establish a turkey farm. This will require the construction of a secure enclosure and shelter for the birds.
Benefits: The turkeys will provide food for the home and an income from the ones we sell.
Budget: $10,000
Sonrise Children’s Home serves to promote the Good News of Christ in their area of influence through education, farming, school, outreach and discipleship.
