Gift N (Little Gift)
Little Gift was born March 14, 2012
Gift's mother died in childbirth. Little Gift's father died just after Gift's mother had become pregnant. Gift was given to her auntie to care for her but the auntie already had many children of her own and could not afford to take care of little Gift. She quickly became malnourished. When the village people saw what was happening and that little Gift would soon die of hunger, they told Gift's auntie about Sonrise. When she arrived at Sonrise we all took one look at Little Gift and immediately admitted her. In just three weeks you could already see a big difference in her health. She is indeed a gift to all of us at Sonrise and we thank God for her life. Gift is such a happy baby. She is a very excitable young girl has a good appetite. Sometimes she gets in a bad mood and it’s not pretty. She is a typical girl that we all love.
