Bryan W
Bryan W was born July 2011.
Bryan was born to very young parents. When Sonrise first welcomed him, it was with the hope that his mother would return to school, find work, and eventually come back to care for him. Sadly, after completing only Primary 6, she remarried and left Bryan in the care of Sonrise.
Now living at the Children’s Home, we’ve learned that Bryan has a mild developmental disability due to an underdeveloped area of his brain. This condition causes seizures and a learning disability, making academic work especially challenging for him. However, outside the classroom, Bryan shines.
He’s a vibrant and energetic boy who loves the outdoors—you can often find him high up in a tree, munching on mangos or trying to knock down a jackfruit! He's also learning new practical skills like sewing, basket weaving, and making door mats—skills that bring him joy and confidence.
During school holidays, Bryan visits his maternal grandmother, and his mother occasionally comes to see him. We continue to pray and hope for a full reunification with his family one day.
