Paul was born March 2008.

Paul’s early life was marked by deep loss and hardship. His mother passed away in 2010, and his father, battling alcoholism, showed no concern for his well-being. We were heartbroken to hear that his father even attempted to starve him to avoid the responsibility of feeding him.

Thankfully, a kind elderly woman in the community took Paul in, hoping to find a safe place where he could be properly cared for. Not long after, the Sonrise Baby Home welcomed him with open arms. Due to the severe neglect he had endured, Paul struggled to walk for quite some time. But by the grace of God and through consistent love and care, he slowly recovered.

Today, Paul lives at the Sonrise Children’s Home and has grown into a resilient and compassionate young man. Over the past few years, his self-esteem has blossomed. While attending secondary school, he discovered a passion for sewing, a skill he picked up quickly and now truly enjoys.

Paul also dreams of becoming a pastor, inspired by his Uncle Ivan. He says his greatest desire is to help people know who Jesus is.
