Musa K
Musa was born January 2010.
Musa’s story began with heartbreak. His mother passed away shortly after his birth, and there was no one in his village able to properly care for him. Though he was not born prematurely, Musa was a very tiny baby. During his first week of life, his aunties, doing the best they could, gave him mostly water and very little milk, causing him to lose the little weight he had at birth.
With no one equipped to meet his needs, Musa was brought to the Sonrise Baby Home, where he received the love and care he so desperately needed.
Today, Musa is thriving at the children’s home. He has grown into a kind, hardworking young man who enjoys using his hands to help with construction projects around the property. He dreams of becoming a carpenter one day and is already showing promise with his eagerness to learn and serve.
