Doreen T
After the passing of their father, Doreen and her sisters, Grace Patience, and Susan, were left in the sole care of their mother, who struggled to provide for them on her own.
The girls were initially taken in by another rescue home, but in 2015, it was forced to close due to unforeseen circumstances.
That’s when Sonrise Children’s Home stepped in—not to replace their family, but to empower it. Through educational support, daily meals, and ongoing care, Sonrise has partnered with their mother to help keep her children together and thriving.
Through our reunification program, Doreen and her sisters, have been joyfully resettled with their family. While she is now back in the care of her loved ones, the Sonrise Children’s Home continues to walk alongside her, providing vital support such as school fees, clothing, medical care, and more, as her family is unable to meet these needs on their own.
Thanks to the generosity of caring partners like you, Doreen’s education and well-being remain secure. If you would like to be part of her journey and help ensure she continues to thrive, you can support him through the link above.
Please keep Doreen and her family in your prayers as they continue this new chapter together.
