Agnes and her twin Peace Babirye came to the Sonrise Babies Home very sick. Their mother left them with their father who had no way of caring for them. Upon arrival at the Sonrise Baby Home, they were badly malnourished.
Agnes is now a growing young lady and loves school. She is a very quiet girl but so active in many school activities, games and sports. She is very helpful when it comes to housework, and helps her house mother do lots of laundry and dishes.
With further investigations we discovered that her father died after retiring from the Ugandan military. We were able to take the girls to know where their father was buried. We still do not know where their birth mother is located. We are glad to have Agnes and Peace with us at the Sonrise Children’s Home and school where they will always be loved and receive care.
