Keen and her 3 siblings were being cared for by their grandmother who died. The children were left in the care of their grandfather who was unable to provide the care they required. A Mirembe social worker became aware of their plight resulting in Keen being brought to Mirembe. The 3 younger siblings were taken in by the Sonrise Baby Home. Monday, an existing Mirembe Cottage girl is the biological aunt of these four children.
